International Conference "Breaking the circle of Roma exclusion", October 3-4, 2017, in Bucharest - EEA Grants & RO10 Programme
The Romanian Social Development Fund as Programme Operator of the Programme RO10 – "Children and youth at risk and local and regional initiatives to reduce national inequalities and promote social inclusion", funded through EEA Grants 2009-2014, is organizing in Bucharest from 3 to 4 October 2017, the International Conference "Breaking the Circle of Roma Exclusion".
This event, attended by both high-level decision-makers and experts and researchers on the issue of Roma inclusion in the country and abroad, will provide a framework where Roma and non-Roma organizations, together with all parties involved, can discuss how to counter Roma exclusion in order to reduce the gap between the expectations for a better future and the marginal social and economic situation of a large part of them in Romania.
The organizers also want to take a step forward in terms of Roma inclusion and their future in Europe, discussing how to develop and multiply good practice in the measures funded by the EEA and Norway Grants.
Agenda and location of the conference will be announced later.
