Business Conference and Matchmaking event – “Innovation drives growth”

The conference will bring together Norwegian and Romanian private companies’ representatives in order to explore and discuss issues related to opportunities and strengths for a sustainable business growth.

• Registration and Program: 

Participants of the matchmaking event will register on our dedicated platform, where they will be able to promote their organisation and projects to generate interest from potential foreign partners. Interested companies will then be able to pre-arrange as many individual meetings of 20-minutes as possible over different time slots to maximise their attendance. 

Only participants that would be eligible applicants for joint projects under the EEA and Norway Grants will be considered for the event.  

Companies will be selected by an established committee, based on the above-mentioned criteria. Those ones approved for participation will be validated by Innovation Norway and could start booking B2B speed meetings.

• Participation disbursement: 

Applicants from Norway: The Norwegian participants in the event may receive a lump sum of EUR 1000 from Innovation Norway covering their travel and accommodation costs. This will be awarded as de minimis aid, based on reimbursement principle. Each participant will be responsible for booking the airplane ticket and hotel. Practical information section could be also useful when taking care of administrative aspects of the travel. 

Applicants from Romania: all participation expenses are to be covered by a lump sum of EUR 350 (available for companies located at a distance of at least 150 km from Bucharest). The expenditures are covered by the applicant from his own funds and a reimbursement request will be submitted to Innovation Norway after the travel has taken place.  

All travel grants should be based on a Request for Reimbursement and a Declaration of De Minimis Aid.
