The Local Development Call: the deadline for submitting projects has been extended

The Romanian Social Development Fund (RSDF) announces the extension of the deadline for submission of projects within the Local Development call for proposals, organized under the Local Development Programme, funded through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. Thus, eligible applicants can submit the project proposals by February 25, 2020.

This change was included in a corrigendum that was published in the web section dedicated to the Local Development Programme within the FRDS website (www.frds.ro). In addition to extending the deadline for submitting projects, through the corrigendum, other important changes were made in the call documentation, which eligible applicants are invited to consult, accessing the following link: corrigendum no.1/10.12.2019 for the Local Development call for proposals.
As a result of the extension of the deadline for submitting projects within the Local Development call, the intermediate deadline has been modified up to which bilateral initiatives can be submitted within the call for proposals for bilateral initiatives aimed at identifying partners for projects carried out in partnership with donor states, developing partnerships and bilateral projects under the Local Development Programme. Thus, for the call for proposals of projects Local development can be submitted bilateral initiatives until January 23, 2020.
 
Launched on September 10, 2019, the Local Development call for proposals has a total amount of 10,090,640 euro and provides support for the implementation of measures to prevent and combat poverty and social exclusion. The activities supported by the projects funded under this call will target the elderly, the children affected by the migration of parents, the people with disabilities, with serious illnesses, in the terminal phase, the victims of abuse and family violence and will support measures for the development or extension of support services, assistance, social or medical care, services designed to facilitate access to the labour market and measures to promote and replicate new models of intervention for vulnerable groups. Eligible applicants are public entities, non-governmental organizations and associations of local authorities.
The call for proposals for bilateral initiatives supports the development of cooperation and partnership relations between entities in Romania and the donor states (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), within the Program. Through the call, funding is provided for the identification of partners for projects carried out in partnership with the donor states, the development of partnerships and bilateral projects, for their submission within the calls for projects opened through the Program. The maximum amount of money that can be allocated to a bilateral initiative is 5,000 euro.
