Together for Women`s Safety! - a multidimensional intervention project against gender-based violence implemented by the FILIA Association in partnership with ANAIS, FRONT, E-ROMNJA, and TRANSCENA, with the support of EEA Grants.

How was it possible?

Through information and awareness campaigns, advocacy at local and national levels, research and activism, meetings with authorities, workshops with women and men, theater performances with students (in Mizil, Valea Seacă, and Giurgiu), and the development of advocacy groups in 6 counties.

Two reports on services for victims and their budgeting were published, administrative complaints against authorities were filed, lawsuits and petitions to the CNCD on issues of sexism and gender discrimination were submitted. Furthermore, two protest actions were organized to demand appropriate services for survivors of domestic violence.
