North by Southwest – The Documentor Association and its Norwegian partner Bodo produced 6 promotional and educational documentary short films in Timișoara and the region, focusing on independent creative industries and the local cultural sector during the year Timișoara held the title of European Capital of Culture. These highlighted specific sectors: music, theater, photography, and cinema, providing an overview, analysis, and perspective on the cultural sector in Timișoara.

Implemented with the support of EEA and Norway Grants, the initiative emphasized local culture as a solution for sustainable economic development and the promotion of both cities and regions. Moreover, it facilitated international collaborations to better expose cultural offerings in the European space, improving opportunities, professional qualifications, and the experience of personnel working within cultural and creative industries.
