Scandia Food has put into practice the slogan of the EEA & Norway Grants: Working together for a green, competitive, and inclusive Europe!

A contribution of their own and a grant of €410,268 from the EEA and Norway Grants through the RO-Energy Program were invested in a photovoltaic power plant at Scandia Food for sustainable development.
Installed capacity of 776 kWp and will produce approximately 835 MWh annually.

The impact?

13% of the factory’s total annual electricity consumption is covered by “clean” energy.
Reduction of CO2 emissions by approximately 275 tons each year.
