SIGSTRAT SA - Green, renewable energy with the support of EEA & Norway Grants!

361,238 euros provided under the RO Energy Program allowed SC Sigstrat SA to install a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 1MW, covering 30% of its electricity needs.

The implementation of the Solar Energy Capacity Development at Sigstrat SA project offered the 100% Romanian-owned company a solution to the rising prices of raw material and energy, ensuring its products remain competitive at the European level.

2,700 photovoltaic panels mounted on 5 factory buildings, each with a capacity of 400 Wp, have enabled the company to reduce CO2 emissions by 364 tons per year, produce 1,190 MWh per year, and become a regional best practice example.
