Support for Renewable Energy!

On the path to green, renewable energy, Apulum, one of the largest ceramics producers in Romania, has stepped forward by deciding to install a photovoltaic system at their factory.

1831 bifacial photovoltaic panels, which allow for up to 30% higher energy production, were installed as part of a project co-financed through the EEA & Norway Grants.

What were the results?
- the photovoltaic plant will provide 1200 MWh for internal consumption and an installed capacity of 997 kWp.
- 15% of the consumption needs are covered by a green energy source.
- Carbon footprint reduction by 365 tons of CO2/year.
- €163,000 – annual savings as a result of installing the plant.
