8.76 million euro for increasing access to health services in 7 counties

8.76 million euro for increasing access to health services in 7 counties through the project "Strengthening the National Network of primary health care providers to improve the health of the population, children and adults (including vulnerable population)" funded under the Programme - Challenges in public health at European level".

The project will be implemented starting with 13.05.2020 by the National Institute of Public Health in partnership with the National Institute for Maternal and Child Health "Alfred Rusescu, the World Health Organization, the Norwegian Directorate of Health.

Over a period of 36 months, the aim will be to increase access to health services in the 7 counties selected by:

- establishment/renovation of new school health offices, including staff;

- new tools for community care providers, care protocols and standardized registration forms that contribute to the development of the health profile in 7 counties as well as the training of community teams, incuding the training of trainers;

- the development of an European study to assess the health status of the population according to the EU methodology (EHES) and an assessment of health needs at local level;

- extension of the IT Solution "PREVENT" with new modules for reproductive health, oral health, hygiene, trauma.
