The program dedicated to civil society in Romania – the Active Citizens Fund – had an allocation of 46,000,000 euros and funded 325 projects.

The Active Citizens Fund is managed in Romania by a consortium consisting of the Civil Society Development Foundation, the Partnership Foundation, the Resource Center for Roma Communities, the PACT Foundation, and the Norwegian partner Frivillighet Norge, which acts as the Fund Operator designated by the Financial Mechanism Office of the EEA and Norway Grants.
