Research

The objective of the programme is developing research-based knowledge and enhanced performance of Romanian research internationally, through supporting collaborative research projects between research organizations in Romania and in the Donor States, in the following areas:

  • energy
  • environment
  • health
  • social sciences and humanities, including gender studies and social inclusion studies
  • information and communication technology
  • biotechnology

Total amount of funding available for the programme

55,529,412 euro (47,200,000 euro Granturi SEE și Norvegiene și 8,329,412 euro cofinanțare din bugetul național)

Programme management

The programme is managed by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), as Programme Operator, in partnership with Research Council of Norway and Icelandic Centre for Research.

Projects selected under the calls for projects, organized by the Programme Operator in 2018-2019 will be funded.
