The Project Management Unit (hereinafter referred to „PMU”) within the Romanian Ministry of Culture, acting as Programme Operator for RO-CULTURE Programme, implements the bilateral initiative Storytelling in museums (hereinafter referred to „the bilateral initiative”) in partnership with North Consulting ehf.
At the National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti" in Bucharest, an ambitious project was carried out that highlighted the cultural richness of the Roma people through an unique collaboration with the ANNO Museum in Norway. Together, the two museums made a journey through time and space dedicated to this minority.
The updated deadline for the submission of proposals for bilateral initiatives is September 16th 2024, at 23:59.
As part of the RO Culture Program, a call for bilateral initiatives was launched: Bilateral cooperation for the development of Contemporary Art, financed whit the support of EEA GRANTS 2014-2021, Fund for Bilateral Relations.
Bilateral cooperation between artists from Romania and those from the Donor States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) is the objective of this call for the year 2023.
Artists from Ukraine are also eligible. The file will be submitted by an entity from Romania or from the donor states and will include the participation of 1 or 2 artists. In the case of entities that send 2 artists, one of them must be from Ukraine.
The call was opened between June 30 and August 31, 2021
